Heading out to case the promise land

I am, typically, a few days late, but given all the trouble with LJ this week, this would probably be a good time to mention that I am alittlefaith on DW. Most entries get crossposted to both, though I mostly think of DW as a backup. Regardless, if I leave LJ, or LJ leaves me, that is where I will be.

I don't have any plans to leave at the moment, though. Mostly due to my own extreme laziness, and the reality that SPN fandom is still very much an LJ affair. Also, my brief spikes of rage aside, I just don't have enough of a problem with LJ to ditch it. It's flakey and occasionally stupid and/or enraging, but most things are, from time to time. And I like this post on the DoS attacks. It doesn't negate the fuckups that are LJ's fault, but it does make me feel a little bit proud of them.

Now I have a story to write. I have been planning to do that since I got up, several hours ago. I'm sure it'll happen any minute.
