I have two, actually, and neither of them is that I am a terrible LJer. I assume that is remarkably self-evident by now.
Confession 1: I think I am an Apollo/Starbuck shipper. I do have most of the second half of the final season to go (Spoil me not!), so it's possible I could end up hating them, but against all odds, at this point, I am very much in favour of them. I do not know why! Or how! Except for Unfinished Business, with the beating each other up, and then the clinging. I can't possibly be expected to resist that, so I have not.
Also, when I said I didn't like BSG, that was a mistake, too. I admit it. It might not be The Wire, but I no longer find it incomprehensible that people mention both shows in the same breath. What I've seen of S4 has given me pause, especially the first half, but then there was a mutiny, and Tigh was awesome (as I had long suspected him to be!), and Starbuck and Lee got to work together and be hot and bantery. I might forgive whatever else happens in this season just for those two episodes.
Though maybe confession number 2 should be that I sort of don't like Laura Roslin very much. She might be my least favourite person on the show, and I bet she outlives them all. What. Ever.
Actual confession number 2: I sometimes find myself not hating Castiel. Obviously subject to change, but, you know. Sometimes he's funny. Especially when he's cranky. I can't imagine I will ever love him or want to read fic about him, but still. Funny. Possibly, at this precise time, not a show-ruiner.
On a related note, just to prove that I have been a little bit fannish still, I have a very long, very schmoopy Sam/Dean fic to post, and I will do that, eventually, but let me say now that it is pretty much no plot and lots of smiling for, like, 35000 words. It might be a little much, even for me.
