Those of you who know about these things, what is the deal with Castiel in S6? I was stupidly and absurdly getting my hopes up that he would, you know, meet his fiery, fiery end this season. It was pretty much the only thing keeping me watching. But now I hear Misha thinks he's coming back.
Does anyone know more? Is he still a regular? Is there really no chance of my show being liberated from his evil clutches?
God, I hate him so much. I hate everything about him. I love Sam and Dean, still kind of epically--or I love what they were. But I don't want to watch this show any more while it runs that relationship into the ground, and simultaneously panders to fandom by keeping Castiel around long after the apocalypse is done and there is no need for him. Because I will never be convinced that's not what it is. The women and the black guys die, and the pretty white ones that fandom loves get to stick around.
