Possibly because I do not believe there is an amount of love in the world that would be adequate for his magnificence, but that is beside the point. And so, i propose a game. It is catchily called WHY SAM WINCHESTER Is the Most AWESOMEST EVER!
It is pretty simple. You just have to tell me things about him that are awesome, and I will reply with some more things that are also awesome about him. For example, that he has the most ridiculous ability to make Cas amusing, or the way he was so outrageously hot when he was all, "You can't hold me anywhere." Or how he is choosing to be with Dean even without a soul. Or how he went to hell to save the world. That was pretty fucking awesome, right?
Yes, yes, I did see the last ep of SPN and fall a little bit in love with this stupid show again. Shut up.

I love that he tried the puppy dog eyes on Dean because past experience told him that it would work, even if he didn't quite understand why anymore. I also LOVE that he offered Dean the prize out of the box of Lucky Charms, and that he gave Dean that last Christmas even though he found it upsetting to think about Christmas without Dean. I love that he tried to keep everybody alive at Cold Oak and that he didn't kill Jake (even though hindsight says he should have).
I hate you for making me get all entangled again.

And if you insist on discussing character things, I love how he gets Dean to start being Dean again in Fresh Blood just by telling him he wants his brother back. Sigh. BOYS!
This is why there is no point in fighting it. they will always suck you back in. Especially if you insist on listening to The Gaslight Anthem, who write nearly as many songs about Sam and Dean as Tom does.
