Hi, awesome person who will be writing for me! Thank you so much for the story you're thinking of writing! You are already one of my favourite people. However, by this point, you have perhaps got my signup, and are in the depths of despair, because you can't help but notice my stunning lack of detail. Do not panic! Here there be detail--hopefully enough to give you some idea of what I like.

Pretty much all my requests come down to wanting a hopeful ending, some banter (and affection disguised as insults), and an emphasis on friendship. Seriously, if those three things are there, I am pretty much yours forever. I don't much like very dark stories, or very heavy kink, but that's really all I can think of in terms of definite dislikes.

Specific fandom stuff: For The Dark Tower, I would love anything set before the sixth book. That's about when they start to go downhill for me, but anything with Roland, Eddie, Susannah and Jake before that would be great. If writing very plott-y adventure-y stories is your thing, then I would obviously love that, but I'd be just as happy with a slice of life kind of thing--some quiet time where we can actually see them becoming a team. Roland training them, or Susannah, Jake and Eddie adjusting to the practicalities of living without all the stuff that they're used to. I'd also be thrilled by a story focussing on Roland's past and his friendship with Cuthbert and Alain. I am definitely not opposed to Cuthbert/Roland, but that's not something you should feel you have to write.

For Sports Night, I'm really all about the banter. I like Danny/Casey, but I love the ensemble nature of the show, so a gen piece with all of them in it is just as good. If it's a shippy story, I'm a total sucker for first times and pining. On the show, one of the things I love most is how they're a family, so if you can bring that out in a story, I will love you forever. Stories where they finish Sports Night and realise they're still going to be in each other's lives will always make me happy, but, honestly, whatever you want to write about is fine. A holiday story, or the return of Thespis, or just 1000 words of Dan making fun of Casey for liking soccer will totally work for me. I will pretty much read them doing anything if that sense of love is there.

For MASH, I prefer the seasons with BJ, and I do ship them kind of a lot, but as above, I also really enjoy ensemble pieces. If it's shippy, then the first times and pining also applies. *g* I really like stories where something forces them all to work together as a team (especially if it's something not as huge as the life and death stuff they usually deal with). Stories where they connect after the war are also kind of awesome.

Mostly, though, I'd just rather you had fun with it. I'm delighted you're writing me a story, and you should totally get to enjoy the experience, too. Whatever you're most comfortable writing is what you should write.
